Avoid amplified DDoS attacks using FPGAs

#1

There are couple of techniques proposed for preventing your servers from being flooded by huge amounts of (non)requested data such as pipes, data scrubbing (usually via third-party centres), etc. What’s very important here is the detection and recovery time so that the damage/outage affecting your business is minimised.
In this regard, FPGAs can be very useful as they’re capable of handling high-throughput computations which, in this case, is extracting features (including src/dist IP etc) and detecting the malicious behaviour in the network.

We are currently looking into this sorts of applications and would like to hear more about your use cases.
