🛠 Tooling and docs updates 📖

#1

Hey all,

I just thought I’d let you all know about some recent useful updates. To take advantage of our full feature set you’ll need to keep your tooling up to date. Our current version is reco v0.6.0 and you can run reco update to check your version and update if required:

  • You can now view build reports to get utilisation stats for your projects, read more on that here.
  • You can also include messages when creating a build, just like you would with a git commit, so you can keep track of things when you have more than one build per project. Build messages will be displayed in you project’s reco build list and on your dashboard:
$ reco build list
id                                      started                 status                 Message

0b15ec5c-f3ba-11e6-9f75-127f5e3af928 2016-12-08T17:01:00Z COMPLETED something to help me recall what the build is for
cdb339dd-8fb5-457c-9439-3f40267678e8 2016-12-08T18:31:58Z COMPLETED WITH ERROR something to help me recall what the build is for

Let us know if there’s any functionality you’d like to see us add in future :slight_smile:

Also, we’ve moved all our example code and guidance over to use the SMI protocol, so if you’ve cloned our examples repo, remember to checkout the latest version: v0.5.1 and the latest version of our tutorial materials repo: v0.4.0
